This is a collection of vocabulary cards for the 4th grade science curriculum where I teach. I have taken all the important words that my student's need to know and created definition cards with full color photographs. These cards could be used to review for state testing, or would also be great to introduce each science topic. There are more than 50 cards included.

One of the big things my district if focused on right now is student self assessment. I created this simple way for students to quickly assess how they are doing with any area of study or assignment. I have laminated the main posters on cute yellow paper and have them hanging on my board. Then, any time my kids do an assignment, they draw a smiley face on it to let me know how they felt about their work. It works great for me because I can see if they are correct in how they feel they are doing.

These pages allow them to write their words several times each week, because there is a different activity each day. You could use any 6 words each week.
