Kindergarten Got Dots Cards for Math Common Core, Subitizing & More!
With the new Kindergarten Common Core Curriculum there are so many Got Dots games that I didn't want to use the black masters that are provided with the unit. So I created 8 sets of cards for students. Each set has dots (great for subitizing) shown in 2 ways, numerals, and numbers words. I did this so I could easily differentiate with students. In addition each set is a different color. I have taught my students that they should never have the same color as their partner. This makes sorting

Experience
A large part of my experience comes from being a mother of five! I started as a kindergarten teacher in 2005, and have spent the last 8 years in 1st and 2nd grade.
Teaching style
My style? Hands on, fun, exciting. These are kids! I can teach the standards and still make sure they have an amazing school year. I strive to make everything we do completely engaging and exciting. I never want to hear the word "boring" in my classroom.
Additional biographical information
I am blessed to be the mother of 5 beautiful children, four boys and one girl. I am so happy that I get to do something I love each and every day and that same career allows me to spend weeks home with my children in the summer!
