Context Clues -- Graphic Organizers

Created by
Tess Sharp
I created this as a beginning of more graphic organizers to come! I love graphic organizers, so this is a start. I included 2 varieties of context clue graphic organizers that really just change the wording a bit. I have included an acronym, as well as a song describing how to find context clues. (These can be hung up as anchor charts in your classroom.) If you have any more questions about it, let me know, and I will try my best to answer them. I look forward to reading your feedback, Tess

Not only does this help the teacher remember what TEKS they must cover, but it allows the students to have an easy reference guide. I added a lot of visuals, in addition to words, which will help any English Language Learners and Emergent Readers. I recommend cutting and pasting these into file folders for your students to retrieve at their discretion. I believe the

This is a pdf that includes pictures, along with visuals of a variety of adjectives. I used this when teaching students in a SPED class. They relied on this booklet extensively, and it increased their speed and proficiency in writing. Not saying that it will work for all children, but why not try it out. This particular booklet would be six pages long, and includes color words, as well as weather, feelings, textures, and numbers. I recommend printing 3 pages per sheet, punching a hole in each up
