I believe that all students are capable of learning and achieving success in mathematics. Every scholar brings unique strengths, experiences, and learning needs into the classroom, and it is my responsibility to meet them where they are and help them grow.
My teaching focuses on creating a supportive, engaging, and student-centered learning environment where math is meaningful and accessible. I use hands-on, interactive activities, real-world connections, and differentiated instruction to build understanding and confidence. By providing multiple opportunities for students to explore, collaborate, practice, and reflect, I strive to help every learner develop strong mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills.
This philosophy extends to every resource I create for Texas Math Made Simple. My goal is to provide print-and-go, classroom-tested materials that are easy for teachers to implement while keeping students actively engaged. I believe great resources should save teachers time, support diverse learners, and make math instruction both effective and enjoyable.
Together, we can help every scholar discover that they are capable of success in math.
