Probability In Word Games And Letter Usage
This activity is broken into three parts. The first part uses a frequency distribution of Words With Friends tiles to explore simple probability, addition rule, and complements. The second part allows the student to use an empirical method to find the frequency of letters used in the English language and to find empirical probabilities.
