Keep parents informed and students motivated as you have students color in how many Class Dojo points they earn each day. When they reach a star, they have earned a prize of your choosing. Students remain focused on their own progress as they become excited to track how close they are to reaching their next prize. Students can keep this chart in their home-school folder for daily use.

Provide parents with this guide to help them support their child when reading at home. Prompts provided will help students improve their word solving, meaning, and fluency. On the back side parents can ask sample questions before, during, and after reading a book with their child. This is a great tool to send home or to keep in a guided reading envelope or take-home folder.

Welcome your students to your classroom with these fun bubble tags! Simply hole punch in the corner of each tag and tie to a bubble wand, bottle of bubbles, or bubble gum as a welcome gift for your students! There is a place at the bottom of each tag where you may choose to sign your name as well.

When your students earn a desk pet you can mark the occasion with an official certificate. Students can name their pet and take a certificate home to share this achievement with their family.

This activity was designed to be used during small group literacy centers (work board time). Students roll an alphabet die of teacher’s choosing (see image below of dice used in my classroom). Students write the rolled letter to complete the word and trace the rime. Students repeat until word family list is complete. I created this memory book as a gift to give students at the end of our school year. This memory book combines student work samples (writing/illustrating) as well as photos taken by the teacher to create a unique and very special keepsake! Parents will love looking back through these pages to see first hand just how much their child grew during his/her year in kindergarten.
