My degree is in graphic communication. As the art teacher I was asked to do many different things for teachers & administration. A good friend suggested that I try to sell some of my handouts and posters.

value scale & monochromatic painting
This is a 4 to 5 weeks painting unit. First the students rule & paint 3 value scales. Next they make a cool value name design out of the scales. Finally they paint a composition of their choice using a monochromatic color scheme. I love all three projects.

Here are 5 handouts each containing 10 artists & their works. This is a fun, colorful way to meet 50 artists. I also included answer keys. If you like these handouts follow me as I create this series called Meet 50 Artists. I have already posted some games & a really cool poster to use in your classroom.

Meet 50 artists match game & more
I picked 50 artists. (There are so many it was hard to choose.) There are 50 artist cards & 50 art work cards. This is a perfect way to learn artists & some of their works. Students can play match games individually or in groups. Keep watching for meet 50 artists. There will be more to come.

Everybody likes to keep track of things. Here is a very fun way to document daily events in your life. You could keep track of your study skills, reading, exercising, steps, whatever works for you. Just color the day of the month & eventually you will have a work of art! You can track each month separately or do the whole year!
