A total of 42 Job Applications (14 different jobs – 3 differentiated versions for each job!) Students can complete these applications on the computer!!! Students choose a cafeteria and classroom job they would like for 1 month (by keeping the job for 1 month, they are more likely to increase their independence with performing the job tasks). Students will create a shopping list according to the ingredients they need to purchase for a recipe. They will then go on a "scavenger hunt" for the items in the store. Students will record the aisle number where they found the items. They will also record the cost of the items and add the total prior to check-out.

In order for students to increase their independent living skills, they need to be able to follow simple recipes.
