Do you have students that can answer questions *during* the story? However, when the story is removed, the student struggles?
This is a data sheet to give you baseline data on comprehension during books then after books (with no book or visuals present).
This data sheet can also be used to track comprehension across probes or different stimulus (different books).
Simple way to track data on a new AAC device (augmentative alternative communication).
-Tracks prompt level (key provided)
-SLP, teacher or para easily circle prompt level needed to request a desired item
-Reinforcer (requested item) is written in the first column
- This allows SLP and teachers to see what items are being requested and how often
- Next, you can circle the distance (in feet) from communication partner and from device to track how well your student is traveling with the devic
I use this data sheet to take quick notes. Particularly if I'm pushing into a general ed classroom, I find attaching this to a clip board makes taking notes easy and effective.
