Hi there! I'm Kait, and I've been teaching for 11 years. I began my career in the Chicagoland area, and moved to Minnesota with my husband in 2016, continuing to teach there for 6 years. Our family moved back to Illinois 2 years ago, and I returned to teaching here. Over the course of my 11 years, I have taught 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. I have also served as an ESL Department Lead, and Grade Level Team Leader. 5 years of my career were spent in an Arts Magnet school, which was the most incredible experience! I love including art now into everything I do!

This study guide has questions to review all skills taught in Unit 1 of Everyday Math. There is an I Can statement at the start of each set of skill questions so students can review the goal of completing each set of questions. At the end of each set, there is a space for students to identify their own confidence with that skill by marking it with an emoji.
