I'm currently teaching K-5 Math Specials in a suburb of Atlanta. This is my 14th year of teaching. I taught 1st grade for 8 years and 3rd grade for 3 years. I love what I do! 3rd Grade CCSS Assessment Pack: Mathematics
This 55-page resource can supplement your CCSS instruction in 3rd grade. There is a poster and assessment for each CCSS. There is also a checklist included to keep track of each student's progress.
An answer key has been purposely left out. Many of the CCSS are performance based and ask the students to justify/explain their answers. Two different children may have two different explanations, but both will have the same answer. Therefore, grading is left to the judgment of the teacher.

Teaching style
I like to incorporate hands-on, engaging, and meaningful activities with my instruction. I also try to incorporate technology as much as possible. I believe students can learn more and grow as individuals if they are collaborating and communicating effectively with the teacher and their classmates.

Bachelor's Degree from Georgia College and State University (May 2004); Master's Degree from the University of Georgia (July 2009); Specialist degree from Piedmont College (December 2011)
