About the store
I have 13 years experience as a licensed Intervention Specialist, K-12 in the state of Ohio, with a certified Reading Endorsement, grades K-12. I spent 5 years with high school students in a Cross-Categorical Special Education Resource Room teaching a variety of subjects each year [see below]. I then spent 6 years in different Moderate-to-Intense Self-Contained Special Education Classrooms. During that time, I spent 4 years with elementary students in a self-contained classroom for Emotional-Behavioral Disabilities [ED/EBD], and another 2 years in self-contained classrooms for junior high students with more intense cognitive impairments, intellectual disabilities, and medical necessities [CD/ID/MH]. MATH: grades 4-8, Tier III Algebra I General Economics Financial Wellness ENGLISH / LANGUAGE ARTS grades 4-8, Tier III Corrective Reading English I, II, II SCIENCE grades 4-8, Tier III + Extended Standards Physical Science Earth and Space Science SOCIAL STUDIES grades 4-8, Tier III + Extended Standards SEL [Zones of Regulation] Social Skills Functional Skills [education] Daily Living Skills Employment Skills My husband has been teaching high school Social Studies for the past 15 years, including History, Psychology, and AP courses. Teaching style

Our teaching styles are multi-modal, reaching out to different learners by pulling in their strengths through a conglomeration of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic approaches to instruction, learning, and in practice or assessment. Students who can use their strongest modality of learning and communication will have the best opportunities to excel in their chosen passions throughout their lives.
