I have 13 years experience as a licensed Intervention Specialist, K-12 in the state of Ohio, with a certified Reading Endorsement, grades K-12.
I spent 5 years with high school students in a Cross-Categorical Special Education Resource Room teaching a variety of subjects each year [see below]. I then spent 6 years in different Moderate-to-Intense Self-Contained Special Education Classrooms. During that time, I spent 4 years with elementary students in a self-contained classroom for Emotional-Behavioral Disabilities [ED/EBD], and another 2 years in self-contained classrooms for junior high students with more intense cognitive impairments, intellectual disabilities, and medical necessities [CD/ID/MH].
