The Itsy Bitsy Reader

This is a fun page for students to sort, count, then graph their Valentine's conversation hearts. I like the idea of multiple directions on one sheet: students get to sort, count, I encourage my students to write their numbers in the circles, and then graph their heart colors in the boxes above. They color in one box for each candy heart. My students loved this activity last year! They were able to do it independently, once I explained that they start at the bottom, and work their way up. I
