I’m a veteran educator with 18 years of experience teaching grades 2–8, and I know firsthand the challenge of finding materials that are both meaningful and manageable. Interactive Notebook Grading Rubric
This is a grading rubric used for interactive notebooks. I use this to grade my notebooks each quarter and it's 50 points each quarter. The rubric breaks down the scores for A, B, C, D/F with descriptions for each. Students glue these into the notebook and I grade it right on the sheet. I keep track of which pages I grade (ex: 1-15) and how many completed Cornell Notes they have (2/4), and then sign my initials. Could be used in any class really, not just math.
