About the store
Beginning my career in teaching music, I quickly shifted to specialize in Special Education. I've worked in Maryland in nonpublic schools as a teacher and curriculum specialist and in Texas public schools as a high school Special Education teacher. Although I loved working, after having kids and moving overseas I decided to stay home. Now we're back in Maryland where I homeschool (pre-k to grade 5). I'm also the administrator of a growing homeschool co-op where I teach a variety of classes to ages pre-k through high school.

Our first years homeschooling included a lot of free play and story time. As my kids get older, we are doing more structured activities following curricula.
