During one of my highly ambitious pinterest filled afternoons in the summer, I was inspired to work on number family scrapbooks with my kids. This is a good way for kids to be able to be artsy in math class and show what they know! This would also be a great spiraling activity to use in a center to keep skills fresh in student's brains all year! I am a 4th grade teacher, so my specifics are for 4th grade, but this concept could easily be modified up or down to meet the needs of your students!

I used this when working with my third graders on fact families of multiplication and division... Which also works indirectly with the Commutative Property and missing values. :) My classroom is centered around the "Fab Four" indirectly the Beatles... I use it as a reward system for students who learn their multiplication facts...
