4th Grade Scrapbook Math Projects
During one of my highly ambitious pinterest filled afternoons in the summer, I was inspired to work on number family scrapbooks with my kids. This is a good way for kids to be able to be artsy in math class and show what they know! This would also be a great spiraling activity to use in a center to keep skills fresh in student's brains all year!
I am a 4th grade teacher, so my specifics are for 4th grade, but this concept could easily be modified up or down to meet the needs of your students!

I won an ipad with this lesson plan! :) There are a lot of different parts to this lesson plan, so it could easily be modified for a longer or shorter lesson. :)

Teaching style
My teaching style is everything!! I try to integrate as many different styles of teaching as I can so that I can all of my different learning styles. In general, I try to be interactive and hands on so I guess I lean more towards being a constructivist. :)

Additional biographical information
I teach math to fourth graders in Bristol, TN. My favorite teaching quote is "Teaching is the toughest job you'll ever love." Teaching has many challenges, but I am grateful that I have been called to teach and make a difference in our future. It isn't always easy, but that's why websites like this one are so great, so that we can help each other!! :)
