Lesson Plan Form (Framing the Lesson-Secondary Grades)

This lesson plan form is easy to use and contains cells to fill in the lesson objectives, using the format of "Framing the Lesson." This form is excellent if you have to turn in lesson plans to your supervisor. The form is a Word document. The user may only type in the gray "forms" or boxes. The format, headings, and titles are not editable. Contact me via the "Ask a Question" tab if you have any questions. Thank you! ______________________________________________________ Terms of use:

Experience

This is my 23rd year in Education! I taught high school mathematics for 20 wonderful years. I taught all courses from Algebra I to College-Level Mathematics. I am now an education consultant and teacher certification facilitator. In this role, I have coached teachers from all grade levels (from Pre-Kinder to High School) and subjects, including bilingual teachers and teachers of emergent bilinguals (ELLs). I am proudly bilingual! ¡Soy orgullosamente bilingüe!

Teaching style

I strongly believe in making learning engaging, so my teaching style includes hands-on activities where students can work together, think critically, and move around the classroom while they learn.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I was selected Teacher of the Year at my campus for the 2014-2015 school year.

My own education history

I received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from The University of Texas at El Paso in 1996. I later went back to school and received a Master of Arts in Teaching Mathematics, also from UTEP, in 2006.

Additional biographical information

I am the mother of two beautiful daughters, one of which is a high school math teacher. I love to travel with my wonderful husband and my daughters, especially to places where we can ride roller coasters!
