About the store
Brian and Melanie Fulton met at Virginia Tech, where they each earned doctoral degrees in mathematics. They have taught mathematics at the university level, and they have written and edited mathematics curricula for a variety of levels, from middle school through postgraduate. They live on a small farm in Missouri, where they raise dairy goats, chickens, ducks, cats, miniature donkeys, and any fruit and nut trees they can keep the goats from decimating. They homeschool and are soon expecting their fourth student.

Sample Puzzle from Logic Grids for Kids: Level 1
This is a sample puzzle from the book “Grids for Kids: Level 1”. “Grids for Kids” is a series of e-books which encourages children to think logically by solving logic grid puzzles. Each book in the series contains 30 puzzles arranged according to five types, with six puzzles in each type. The puzzle types increase in difficulty throughout each book, and each successive book in the series adds another level of complexity.

Logic Grids for Kids: Level 5
With Level 5, we start ratcheting up the difficulty. The size of the puzzles is the same as in Level 4, but the logical connections that need to be made are a little more intricate. Some of the clues also contain a more complex structure. Many of the puzzles use a variation of “if … then” statements, prevalent in computer programming and mathematical logic.
