I have been teaching sixth grade math at Madison Middle School for 10 years! It is a joy to work with the kids in Madison. I enjoy math more than most people you know and love to share this passion with my students.
This activity was created for middle school math stations on rational numbers (including integers, fractions, and decimals). It can be used for three different activities: comparing, ordering, and operations. Number cards, spinners, number line, and activity sheets are included. I like to just use paper clips as the spinners, but you can use the arrows that are included. It will give your students the opportunity to each complete a unique set of problems. They spin the spinners to choose the sym
This activity was created for my middle school math stations on surface aea and volume. It will give your students the opportunity to each complete a unique set of problems. They roll dice to determine values for the dimensions of a 3-D figure composed of right prisms. Then, they use those values to find the surface area and volume.
This activity was created by Kimberly Wasylyk, a math teacher with 10 years of experience.
This activity is included in the BUNDLE 2-D and 3-D Geometry at 15% off,
I created this Triangler Puzzle game for my common core math stations. The focus is on dividing whole numbers with multiple digits. Quotients include whole numbers and decimals.
It is great for stations as it can be easily differentiated. For a lower level group, exclude the bottom row of the puzzle. I prepare both versions so that I can swap them out as groups are rotating. Laminate the puzzle page and cut out the puzzle pieces. The puzzle is correct as it is, so print a copy to keep as your k
I created this game for common core math stations on adding and subtracting integers. It can be played individually, in partners, or groups of three or four.
It works perfectly in stations as it is easily differentiated. As my students are rotating from one station to the next, I can grab the stack of cards and remove some pairs to modify the game for a lower level group.
There are 36 cards included. This is enough for three different twelve-card games or two different 18-card games.

This activity was created for my middle school math stations on integer expressions. It will give your students the opportunity to each complete a unique set of problems. They roll dice to determine values for x and y. Then, they use those values to simplify increasingly difficult expressions.

This activity is designed in my classroom stations for groups of four. However, a student could play individually or partners could play together. It works perfectly in stations as it is easily differentiated. As my students are rotating from one station to the next, I can switch out the big deck for a smaller one to modify the game for a lower level group. This activity contains two sets of eight problems. I laminate the included directions to keep at the station. There is also a sheet for stud
