I am a dedicated mathematics educator with 12 years of teaching experience in Alabama. Throughout my career, I have taught a wide range of courses, including 8th Grade Math, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Precalculus, and AP Calculus. I am passionate about helping students build a strong mathematical foundation and succeed at every level.

Teaching style

I enjoy using discovery-based activities and collaborative group work to engage my students. I especially value incorporating movement into my lessons, as I find that students stay more focused and involved when they are active participants in a student-centered classroom.

My own education history

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from Auburn University in 2013, followed by a Master's degree in the same field from the University of Montevallo in 2017.

Additional biographical information
