Dr. P taught for nine years in public schools, and now teaches at the college level.
As a K-12 teacher, she taught a variety of levels, from struggling to advanced readers She is a history buff, so her students read a lot of primary sources in her class. She has a Ph.D. in curriculum & instruction with specializations in literacy studies and educational psychology. <p>
Mr. P taught K-12 science for twelve years in both face-to-face and online classroom settings. His hands-on teaching style made science memorable and relevant to his students.

Teaching style
Both Mr. & Dr. P. are very creative, high-energy, with classrooms often in a state of "organized chaos." They love to keep students active and involved, and use a variety of stations and assessments in their teaching.
