Dr. P taught for nine years in public schools, and now teaches at the college level.
As a K-12 teacher, she taught a variety of levels, from struggling to advanced readers She is a history buff, so her students read a lot of primary sources in her class. She has a Ph.D. in curriculum & instruction with specializations in literacy studies and educational psychology. <p>
Mr. P taught K-12 science for twelve years in both face-to-face and online classroom settings. His hands-on teaching style made science memorable and relevant to his students.

Rubric for RAFT writing assignments
This rubric makes it easy to grade any RAFT assignment. RAFT stands for Role Audience Format Topic, and is a way of letting student show understanding of a story by putting themselves into the shoes of a character and writing from that character's point of view. You can assign a percentage to each of the four categories, allowing you to determine which aspect(s) of the assignment are more important to the goals of the particular assignment.
