This is a measuring activity that can be used in a math center to rallow students to practice non-standard measurement. Print, cut out and laminate the presents. Have students measure the objects with cubes from line to line. Students record how many cubes long the present is and write a prediction of what they think the present wil be.
This is a recording sheet for to be used with the math center Hopping Around the Number Line. Set up: a number line must be placed on the floor. You can use masking tape or create one use lily pad cut-outs. To play the game the students must draw a card and go stand on this number (start). Then their partner can roll the dice and this the number of times they must (hop) to the next number (land).
