This survey is intended for the students to take the first weeks of school, it is a way for you to get to know your students on a more personal level.

I use chromebooks all the time, I decided to make a sticker that would go into their folder of the shortcuts so that I do not have to get asked a million times how to do something. The stickers align with Avery 8168, 4 labels per sheet shipping labels. To see the list of shortcuts, view the preview.

After my students fill up their Dojo card, they get to pick from a list of options. Some of those options can be done instantly, for example, a scratch off ticket. Others I just give them these coupons and they turn them in when they want to use it. These coupons include: - Sit in the Teachers Chair - Change Monster - Note Home - Sit with a Friend - Lunch with a Friend - Pick from Treasure Chest

Instead of asking students what they know, want to know and learned. Ask them what they think, how they can find out and what they conclude. This way is much easier to pull information out of them. Most of the time when I would ask them what they want to know, they would say nothing. This is set up for science, meaning it has them write down an inquiry question at the top to explore.
