This is just a starting block that I put together for my SLP graduate students. They were able to use it as a portfolio and keep items such as tips/suggestions and other important papers like student observations and supervisor observations, and self-reflections inside. It was a nice way to keep everything together and something they can take with them to future placements. For their first day I listed every student they would see on the “Student Notes” form for them to jot down a few things

Weather- Sorting

Students can practice sorting what they will need for each of the three types of weather (sunny, snowy and rainy). Working with preschoolers I try to incorporate quick short songs to keep the kids engaged, and after a couple repetitions, some of them even start to sing along (which is great for us Speechies!). You may want to sing this for each vocabulary you target: (To the tune If You're Happy and You Know It) If it's (weather) outside, get your (item), If it's (weather) outside, get you

SLP Student Teaching Editable Daily Therapy Observation Template for Supervisors

Are you a supervisor who observes therapy sessions and want to give daily notes but aren't sure how to organize them? Try this template, it is set up so you can copy and paste depending on how many sessions you observe. I use this daily with my student clinicians. I find that while verbal feedback is helpful, it is usually a lot for them to remember after a long day. This way they have written feedback daily and there is also a section where you can put any upcoming events or things you want

Experience

Teaching style

I believe in making therapy as functional as possible. It means nothing if a child can do a skill in the therapy room but cannot carry it over and implement it throughout their day.
