With very little prep, you can provide your students with a quick morning or afternoon activity. With the check-in Slips, they can assess how they are feelings and think about what they are excited for or what good things happened that day. These would be great for morning meetings or circle times, with their answers already written down, sharing will be a breeze.

Organize your small group binder with a pop of color and keep track of who is attending. This tool is a greta way to assess who is attending consistently and allows you to better assess your students' progress. I used this as a way to keep track of who was attending and who was being pulled out and it allowed me to adjust my small groups to ensure that I was making the most of my time and seeing all my students as often as possible.
