About the store
This is my 8th year teaching. For the past 7 years I have been teaching in the elementary classroom (multiple different grade levels - mostly primary). This year I have taken a position in my district as an instructional technology specialist. Literacy is still a huge passion of mine, but I see my products/store shifting into a technology driven-mindset. So, if you like engaging (and cute) products, then this is the store for you!

Use this mini-lesson to accompany your teaching of how to find the unknown number in an equation. This mini-lesson includes a exit slip/form using Google Drive.
Included is a paper copy of the quiz, as well as an answer sheet.

Merry Christmas Math Facts (Flash Cards)
Copy flashcards in either color or B/W onto card stock. Have students cut on the dotted lines, put into Ziploc bags, and send home for them to continue practicing their facts to 20 during the winter break! Or keep them for future use in the classroom!

Experience

Teaching style
I have used the PBS model, but am currently learning more about WBT. My literacy block incorporates the Daily Five model and the 6+1 writing process.
My own education history
I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. I then continued my higher education in Curriculum and Instruction. I received my Masters degree in May of 2011 from the University of Missouri - Columbia. This past December I completed my Ed.S. in Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis - my hope for the future is to become and elementary principal or curriculum coordinator.
Additional biographical information
In my free time I love to run. This spring I plan to run three half marathons to reach my goal of 10 total before my 30th birthday!
