You can use before you teach an inequality lesson or after you teach a lesson. This is a great way for students to practice matching a situation with an inequality and graph. You can have the students work alone or as a group depending on the time you have in class. I have the students work in groups in the cut and paste portion. This way there is less to copy and the students get a chance to work together. This helps them develop enhanced communication skills, problem-solving, deeper understa
As students solve problems the picture will color itself. This is the self-checking Google Sheets mystery puzzle activity. This activity has students finding slopes from graphs and stating if they are parallel or perpendicular, writing equations with a slope parallel or perpendicular to a given equation, and stating if equations are parallel, perpendicular, or neither. When students enter the letter in front of their answer choice, the box will turn green if correct or red if incorrect. If you p
As students simplify square roots they will place the correct answer (letter) and the puzzle will reveal itself. This is the self-checking Google Sheets mystery puzzle activity. This activity has students solving for square root problems. Answer choices are listed for students to choose from. When students enter the letter in front of their answer choice, the box will turn green if correct or red if incorrect. If you purchase, please remember to leave a review of how it worked out for your stud
This is a great experiment/activity in which see a visual aspect of real life quadratic equations. Students love to launch rockets and watch what happens. Once completed and discussed there is a worksheet to follow which they learn terminology such as vertex, the axis of symmetry, and maximum while using their TI-calculator.
This is the self-checking Google Sheets activity. This activity has students find midpoints on a coordinate plane & distance on a number line and coordinate plane. When students enter the letter in front of their answer choice, the box will turn green if correct or red if incorrect. If you purchase, please remember to leave a review of how it worked out for your students and Teachers Pay Teachers will give you credits that you can use toward future purchases! This is a foldable book that makes taking notes easier for students. I have found that a foldable or small books work better in Geometry. I have students punch holes once the book is created and place in their binder.

I love doing different activities with my students. This one helps them practice writing equations from two points using slope-intercept form and or point slope form.
This is a Team-Pair-Solo Exit ticket. Every student gets a copy. They work on the first problem as a team, then the second problem as a pair and third problem on their own. There are 4 different versions.
This Homework worksheet goes along with Matching Inequality Activity. You can use it on its own or with the activity. It is great practice no matter what. You can use both worksheets as practice for one child or you can give half the class one and the other half the other.
Absent Memo. I attach to papers and put in designated absent class bins. It makes it easier so I do not have to tell them what was missed. Editable word Doc
You can change my bitmoji with you’re your own.You may change the date and message under good morning/good afternoon. You may add text in the boxes and adjust the size as needed.Use either Google slide or as PowerPoint option.I post every morning/afternoon so students know what to expect when they walk into my classroom
I use this with my Freshmen as interactive notes to put in their Notebooks I check every Chapter. This is a good way to teach graphing and introduce the Cartesian Plane. Then I would do a cut & paste activity with them. My students love doing activities rather than skill and drill.
