With over 20 years of experience in education, I've had the privilege of teaching math as a classroom teacher, math interventionist, and math coach. I’ve worked with both students and teachers across PreK-8th grade, and I’m passionate about helping students engage deeply with math.

Teaching style

I believe the best way for kids to learn is through hands-on experiences that challenge them to think critically. My approach includes rich problem-solving opportunities, interactive games, and number sense routines that foster a love for learning and a strong mathematical foundation.

My own education history

I began my undergraduate studies as an elementary education major with a concentration in mathematics and a minor in special education. After my first year of teaching, I had the privilege of specializing in math education. Since then, I’ve earned a Master's degree in K-8 Math Education and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Math Educational Leadership.
