This approach to language and literacy development works GREAT for smaller groups of students who might have trouble sitting still or with a more traditional writing task. It is also super for English language learners. The teacher can be flexible and give more or less scaffolding as needed throughout the lesson. I have only used this format for English language learners as my Foreign Language classes are always bigger than 20. Let me know if you decide to try this out in a Foreign Language

Teaching style

You will find an eclectic mix of materials here. I try to provide instructions and guides in the target language so you can keep your classroom in the target language as much as possible. I use Bloom's Taxonomy to include higher level questions in my novel packets. But, sometimes, a simple comprehension question gets the job done. My best activities throughout the years have students thinking, working together and moving in the classroom.
