This document includes the student questions which you can purchase separately for $2.00 plus answers to the questions in Spanish and translations and/or explanations of the vocabulary. There are a few added links to help you explain some concepts to students. If you are trying to save time and still provide insight in this text, you may appreciate having my ideas about answers.

Who should improve a neighborhood and how? What do we owe back to the place where we grew up? Congratulation on finishing a good read with your students!

You can certainly do the work yourself, but if you are interested in saving time and having an easy starting point for class discussions or peer grading, this document is what you want.

This approach to language and literacy development works GREAT for smaller groups of students who might have trouble sitting still or with a more traditional writing task. It is also super for English language learners. The teacher can be flexible and give more or less scaffolding as needed throughout the lesson. I have only used this format for English language learners as my Foreign Language classes are always bigger than 20. Let me know if you decide to try this out in a Foreign Language

(Also available in French or English) Let students work in pairs, use tape to help them sift through the clues and solve the puzzle.
