Experience

I am a dual-certified Language teacher for the Department of Education teaching Spanish and English to students in grades 6-12. I currently lead a student group called Global Voices with a focus on service learning and project development. I also am a site coordinator for the We Are NY Adult English Conversation course. Teaching style

Designed to elicit critical thinking skills through language and action, I develop language and cultural units/case studies for a variety of ages and language proficiencies. Students explore language and learning through a very interactive, high-energy and empowering method.

My own education history

I completed my dual-MA program with NYU Steinhardt - NYU Madrid in Teaching English to Students of Other Languages (TESOL) AND Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. She has concluded two years of graduate studies and teaching apprenticeships in Madrid, Spain and New York City, NY. I also received my Bachelors of the Arts degrees in Metropolitan Studies and Spanish Language and Literature at New York University.
