This is one of my favorite packets to give my Spanish-language learners as they gain more independence with their Spanish abilities. This packet includes word isolation, beginner-level grammar skills, and a LOT of creative ability! Students apply their skills to annotation activities, basic sentence writing, and even create a poem AND a comic! I have included a lovely model of some work that students can aspire to achieve.

The College Puzzle was created as an interactive vocabulary building activity. There are two puzzles included and should be printed on two different colored papers or used as two separate activities. This is a 2-page Spanish assessment that I give my level 2 Spanish-language learners as they prove their mastery using the very tricky verbs: ser y estar. I love using this assessment because it's fairly quick, easy to grade and assesses multiple skills all using the same grammar component. I have also used it as a review worksheet, as well as, a post-review activity with the class.
