This is the number of the day sheet I mention in my morning work slide description. On Mondays, we have Mental Math Monday where students go in their binder to find this paper in a sheet protector. They use an expo marker and magic eraser to work with the number for that day. This could also be used in a variety of ways.

This is a quick writing prompt to practice opinion writing for Groundhogs Day. I uploaded 2 versions for the 2 different opinions: see his shadow for a longer winter OR does not see his shadow for spring to come early! I have also uploaded a sheet for publishing.

This is one of my favorite things to do with my class every year for Halloween. It's SO funny to see what each student dresses you up as. I have included an idea web for brainstorming, a planning page to include 2 reasons for the costume they chose, and a publishing page that you can add your picture to for your students' funny illustrations. Reading log to send home in the beginning of March for students to return at the end of the month.

I love using an Interactive Math Notebook as a Math Center each week. I used this page as the first math center to introduce the IMN to my students. They were able to cut and glue the top part of the sheet onto the first page of their notebooks and draw pictures/numbers to answer each question.
