This fun activity asks students to apply their knowledge and understanding of area of perimeter in a creative way. The paper explains that students need to design a robot to explore space -- but it has to be the right size to fit in the space ship. Dimensions for area and perimeter are given. As students cut out their pieces, glue them on construction paper and display on a bulletin board!
You can use any size graph paper (with my class, I use 1/2 inch graph paper).

My students really struggled with two-step word problems. I came up with this 15-page resource to guide them through the steps of breaking down the problem into manageable pieces.
The students begin by filling out, "What the answer looks like" using their words. For example, they would write, "Ducks in the pond + new ducks - scared ducks = total ducks left in the pond." Then, they move on to simply plug in the numbers and solve the problem!
This has done wonders to help my students break-down
This is a test aligned to CCSS.3.MD.A.1
It asks students to tell time on an analog clock, solve basic word problems involved elapsed time (requiring them to demonstrate that they know there are 60 minutes in an hour), and tell elapsed time using analog clocks.
This one-page quiz is a quick way to assess their mastery of elapsed time. An answer key is included.

This fun game helps students master the relationship between division and multiplication while working together to save Division City!
Division Triangles are a great resource for students to practice the grade 3 division standards. They simply cover one number on the triangle and solve to find the missing number. Look at the PREVIEW to see how they're used!
The game is great for math centers, partner work, review, and independent practice.

This energizing game gets kids moving while practicing their multiplication facts. They're so busy skipping, hopping, and dabbing that they don't even realize they're learning. The game is simple: 1. Decide which multiples you want to practice (2-12 are included) 2. Print them out (colored paper helps them pop!) 3. Tape to the floor 4. Use the Action Cards randomly throughout (they say things like "Left Foot 1 Hop") 5. Watch the kids hop and dance their way through the course! If you like this,
One-digit by two-digit multiplication is fun and engaging with this spin on the traditional "Jenga" game! Students choose a card, solve the problem, and remove a block that is the same color as the card. The game ends when the tower falls! Watch how engaged your students are while they play with an adult, a peer, or even against themselves! You can use any wooden block set with this product but it does correspond with this set: < a href="https://amzn.to/2zoRJ1D" > https://amzn.to/2zoRJ1D
This fun multiplication bingo game comes with 12 colorful boards and matching calling cards. The boards can be printed in black and white or color. Laminate them for durability and reuse!
The game is great for reinforcing multiplication facts, speed, and mental math. It can easily be used in centers, small groups, whole group, or during free-choice time.
The game covers all the multiplication facts from 2 - 12 (the 1s facts are not used).
