This game is a race to see who can fill up their board first! One player is "ow and ou" while the other player is "oi and oy." The players take turns drawing cards, and if a card matches their board, they write it down! Fun and easy way to practice sorting these dipthongs.

There are two spelling homework packets in this bundle. One is for four sight words per week. The other is for a spelling list for each week. In my first grade classroom, I used the Frye’s lists for sight word practice for the first quarter, and then I switched to spelling lists with a pattern per week for the rest of the year. This can be the problem solving for the week due on Friday, or it can be used as in class practice. Weeks 1-12 have one problem, and weeks 13-25 have two problems to solve. This bulletin board can be used as a reference on your wall, or it can be used interactively with students marking where they are in the writing process. They can put a clothespin on the step they are at in the writing process or they can write their name next to the steps in the writing process.

This Reader's Notebook can be easily used in grades 2-4. There is a cursive resource page in the front, three tabs for a Reader's Workshop or a Daily Five model, and finally a book recording list in the back so that students can keep track of the books they have read throughout the year. This is a pack of three spelling games! This aligns with the third grade Common Core State Standard centered on retelling folk tales, fairy tales, fables and myths. It also aligns with common spelling patterns needed in the third grade common core state standards. There is a "Jack and the Beanstalk" themed root word and "ed", "ing" ending game, a "Cinderella" themed word sort for long vowel patterns, and a "Lion and the Mouse" themed plurals game.

I have created a Farmhouse Style CAFE board to be used with the DAILY CAFE reading strategies and skills.

This is a rounding game that can be played alone or with a partner. It requires a deck of cards! The students flip up cards and round to the nearest ten or hundred. The mountain on the game board is a visual to help them round.

This is a game for comparing numbers to the thousands! Students take turns rolling a die to compare two numbers to the thousands. Players keep track of who has the greater number by using greater than less than symbols and tracking their points for each greatest number.

Every year I have my students set goals based on their school wide and district wide test scores. This page is what I insert into their data binder to keep track!
