Boggle and Noggle on Google Drive for Distance Learning

This is a great game to play on Zoom or Google Meet. It can also be played in the classroom on an interactive whiteboard or on tablets or Chromebooks during center or choice time. Students will need a piece of paper or a whiteboard to write down their answers. I recommend timing the students for 2 or 3 minutes or having them time themselves if they are in a center. Ketchup and Pickles Images for What To Do When Done

I hang these on a bulletin board in the back of my room. This tells students what to do when they have any extra time in class. Experience

Teaching style

I like to switch things up and keep it interesting. I believe in giving students choice but holding them accountable. To me classroom environment and community is crucial to learning. I use whole brain teaching to keep my kids engaged in group lessons. I do a lot of small group and partner work. I use the Daily 5 model for Reading and Math. While students work independently and in pairs, I lead Guided Reading and Guided Math groups and hold individual conferences.

My own education history

I went to Southern Illinois University and got my bachelors in Elementary Education. Go Cougars!
