A teacher for 5 years in both 4th and 3rd grades. I am also responsible for teaching a Literacy Enrichment class and am always looking for ways to combine the two subjects. TEKS-based resources are more difficult to find, so I usually just create my own. I hope they are helpful to others!

Students are expected to create and recognize many different representations of operations. Including strip diagrams, number lines, decomposing numbers, and standard algorithm each day can be very time-consuming and even a little boring. This is a center activity for students to practice their representations in a more randomized and fun way.
