Matching Parallel Lines
This self-checking google sheet gives students equations match in groups of parallel lines. There is a challenge set of equations for students to rearrange equations into slope-intercept and students can write their own equations. This is good practice for right before solving systems of equations by graphing.

Teaching style
I love a good inquiry lesson but understand the importance of practice to commit to memory. I am always looking for new ways to bring in student interest. I believe the best teachers are flexible and we shouldn't be using the same tasks year after year. We need to be malleable!

I received my Masters of Education from Ohio State in 2011, where I received my Bachelors of Arts in Middle Childhood Education in 2010.
