Correction made on quiz numbering!! I have divided up the novel into four equal parts and have provided a quick "who, what, when, where" matching quiz assessment for readers. I like to do this when students are completing a self-directed novel study for me to ensure they are reading the piece and to see their basic understanding. Two comprehension reading assignments, two comprehension quizzes, definitions and a list of possible short stories. This unit provides a balance between engagement and comprehension.
