Experience
I have been a teacher for over 24 years. During that time, I've taught grades Kindergarten through sixth grade. I've been a classroom teacher, a cross-categorical special education resource teacher, and a reading and writing lab specialist. I absolutely love working with students at my current job.
Teaching style
I have a hands-on, active teaching style. I engage my students. I challenge all students at their level of understanding and boost them to new heights. I follow Bloom's Taxonomy and Maslow's Heirarchy of Needs. I make sure every child grows and succeeds in school. I make my classroom a safe, friendly, and challenging place of meaningful instruction.

My own education history
Elementary Education BA from Bradley University (Certificate Type 03 and LBS1) MATL + 40 additional hours in SPED, technology, and ESL classes. I keep up with education through research articles and workshops on literacy.
