How much water would you have to drink in comparison to a dairy cow? Or if you could dig a tunnel just like mole, how long would your tunnel be in one night's time? Your students will have fun setting up ratios and using proportions to find out some wacky facts about themselves. Extend the lesson by having students create their own picture book illustrating these wacky facts. Project rubric included. About the store

Experience

Teaching middle school math has been my passion for 19 years now. I enjoy creating new learning experiences for my students.

Teaching style

My teaching philosophy revolves around moving student's thinking. We do this through discovery, diving deeper than just "how" to solve the problem, but "why" the math works. Every day I strive for that light bulb moment with my students.
