This resource comes in Black & White and Color! These were created to be used as a printable inside interactive notebooks, posters, and reference sheets. Tips: Journal Size - Print out normal size, then when making copies for composition journals, zoom it to 85%. This will shrink it to fit inside perfectly! Poster Size - Open in Adobe, print as a poster. You can then tape four papers together and laminate as a whole.
I have a voice level chart in my class and it works miracles. I print them out and laminate. I then place a piece of magnetic sticker on the back and have it visible on my whiteboard. I use the little coffee clip art arrow to point to the current voice level. My students love helping me to move it back and forth. I love using these templates when students are completing a quick write at stations, morning work, or during writer's workshop. All of the templates have two checklist that helps to guide the students with their writing. I also use the checklists to guide my grading. I use these slips to assess grammar. Directions on template: Listen and write the sentence that is being read aloud. Make sure your markings are visible and clear. Be sure to mark any and all parts of speech that the reader is dictating.
