I developed this lesson plan to introduce 'how to correctly read an analog clock' to my class. I have used this plan with children 7-12 years old. It works well for whole class instruction for the first session (to introduce the topic and find out which kids need more assistance) and then functions as a workshop guide in the second session. Use this as an icebreaker when working with buddies! It is designed to be used in a big buddy, little buddy context where each team of buddies has to find other buddies that fit the listed criteria. It has both personal elements and physical elements that can be adapted to suit the school / class.
