Additional biographical information

For most of my career, I have enjoyed teaching mathematics to my 8th grade students and preparing them for the rigor of high school. I have also taught 6th, 7th, and various high school levels of mathematics courses. This includes Algebra 1, Geometry, and Gifted and Talented Mathematics courses. The best part about my job is when I can take a complicated topic and deliver in an easy-to-understand way! I enjoy breaking down material so that students can get a deep understanding of the mathematics and establish a foundation for the rest of their educational experience. Over the past few years, I have also taught multiple workshops on teaching strategies and resources to my colleagues in an effort to increase the amount of students that I can reach in an exponential manner!
