This is a creative way for students to imagine everyday objects and create new ones from a simple shape. This is the application of the understanding of a simple shape. It can be an application after each shape, homework projects, art, or a culminating activity.
This gameboard is used by rolling a die, counting the spaces, placing the eraser or other chosen marker on the spot, then drawing a card from the deck. The deck should be made of Dolch words, math problems, or whatever the child is working on for mastery in class. It is best played with 2 people (a parent and the student). The bridges are landed upon and slid around to the other side. if the bridge is not landed upon on the last move of the roll, then it is not used.
