Additional biographical information

I have extensive experience with mobile devices and networks, having been involved in software engineering for over 20 years. It was a passion of mine as soon as I discovered computers at high school and at the early age of 13 I was already starting to tinker around in the computer lab, programming games with friends during lunch hours or study periods. I grew up on a cattle farm (ranch) in Australia and soon after college I was recruited to the United States to work with computers for Apple Computer. From there I was part of the dot com boom working at Phone.com putting the first mobile browser onto cell phones, shipping worldwide in over 1 billiion handsets and creating several of my own patents. I founded my own computer company, Suhari, delivering a mobile advertising platform. This company was purchased by Medio Systems of Seattle! Before leaving Bsquare I was the Director of Engineering for product development; working on a variety of Internet Of Things (IOT) projects. I am excited to be a computer programming advocate, creating content and material to continue helping others develop a similar joy and appreciation in this awesome field!
