Unique Learners Lab

I have been all places under the sun when it comes to education and have had a blast doing what I am passionate about! I currently teach in a Title I school in rural North Carolina. I have students in grades kindergarten through fifth with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities. Many of my students are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or have other unique medical needs requiring the significant modification of materials. All of my students are instructed via the Extended Content Standards, or North Carolina's alternate assessment pathway. We are a Unique Learning Systems classroom!
