About the store
In my short career as a school counselor I have held two positions one as an Elementary Counselor. This position was split between two buildings serving students 4K-5. These buildings had a diverse populations and 45% of the households were receiving free or reduced lunch rates. It was a wonderful experience and I learn so much. I left this position to take my dream role within a self contained program for students who have behavioral struggles, mental health issues and traumatic experiences.
The program focuses on self regulation and building up your coping skills first and academics second. Many of the students live in toxic stress and come to school with imaginary backpacks of trauma to unpack each day. The staffing consists of a myself, my co-teacher and a paraprofessional. We spend all day co-teaching a mix of skills and academics to help our students be as successful as possible. It is a trauma informed safe environment for kids.

Circle Time Questions (Full School Year)
This could be used during morning meeting or a circle time in a classroom or small group session. It includes 112 slides of daily questions and one slide of questions for Monday and one slide of Questions for Friday. The questions are always the same for Monday and Friday to help students develop a comfortable routine. This could be a prep free 10-20 minutes of day. Enjoy!

I have been searching for a grade book that I would be able to use with out adding a ton of sticky notes or other pieces of paper with the standards and life and career goals. This grade book was created for educators using standards based grading, so you are able to keep all the information you need in one organized spot. I recommend printing back to back (including the cover page) so that you can open it like a book and see both pages at the same time. I only included a few pages with the idea

This journal would work best for students who internalize their feelings and have a hard time talking about it. If you use it with a student it can be a nice place to start the conversation about the behavior or to help them notice patterns.
