I have 16 years of teaching experience. I have taught grades 4-8 at some point in my career, however, most time has been spent in a 4th or 5th grade classroom. I have a Masters Degree in Education and have obtained a reading specialist license recently so that I am able to work with students in Pre-K-12th grade with their reading skills.

This nine week spelling packet includes a number of activities that can be used in a variety of ways. This resource is made to cover the first quarter of the school year, but can be used any time throughout the year. Each week is a list of words representing a specific sound such as short vowels, long vowels, /tch/, and /ch/. This free spelling word graphic organizer gives students an opportunity to extend their knowledge of their weekly spelling words. It can be used as morning work, in centers, or homework.
